David Lallouz
Bruderman & Co. today announced that Lallouz, its head of mergers and acquisitions and chief legal, has been elected chair of the Mergers and Acquisitions Committee of the Business Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. With a membership of approximately 3,500, is one of the largest Sections of the association and has been in the forefront of introducing, monitoring and evaluating legal developments in the areas of business and finance on both federal and New York State levels.
Ali Jabbour
Jabbour has been named the new publisher of Dan’s Papers, the leading weekly news and lifestyle publication covering the East End of Long Island and the Press’ sister publication, both of which are owned by Schneps Media. Jabbour most recently served as publisher of Long Island Business News. Before that, she was a managing director of advertising at The New York Times, held various director positions with The Tribune Company, as vice president advertising at Newsday, chief marketing officer at Aurora Branded Entertainment, and Group Director at Lorraine Gregory Communications.
William L. Green
Green has joined the law firm of Duffy & Duffy, PLLC as an associate. He concentrates his practice in medical malpractice law. He previously worked at the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, where he ran several investigations into fraud, waste and abuse in government programs under the committee’s jurisdiction. He later joined a number of various nonprofit organizations.
Dr. Chhavi Katyal
Catholic Health, which operates a half dozen hospitals on Long Island, has named Dr. Katyal, as its new chief quality and patient experience officer. She most recently served as medical director of The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. Dr. Katyal is also an associate professor in pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx.
Anthony Parziale
Office Moving Alliance appointed Parziale, president of The Advance Group — New York’s largest office moving, warehousing, logistics and furniture installation company — to its board of directors, where he aims to contribute to OMA’s global strategic planning and goals.
Megan Iocco
The Uniondale-based law firm of Rivkin Radler LLC named Iocco as an associate in the Insurance Fraud Practice Group, where she helps insurers prosecute civil lawsuits under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to physicians, medical clinics, attorneys, public adjusters and others involved in complex, large-scale insurance fraud schemes. She previously worked as a prosecutor in Queens.
Dr. David Battinelli
Northwell Health named Battinelli as its executive vice president and physician-in-chief, 14 years after joining the health system first as chief academic officer and then as senior vice president and chief medical officer and vice dean of the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He succeeds Dr. Lawrence G. Smith, who will continue to serve as the founding dean of the Zucker School of Medicine.
Dr. Jill Kalman
Northwell Health named Kalman as its senior vice president, chief medical officer and deputy physician-in-chief. She previously served as Lenox Hill Hospital’s executive director for three years before pursuing another opportunity in early 2021.
