Street Cred – Episode 6: Cape Town Part 2

For episode 6 of this 13-part solo street dance series, with iFani as presenter and Eric ‘Versatyle’ Prinsloo as national resident judge, we’re again in Cape Town, Western Cape province. In the second session, 6 solo dance competitors are competing in front of the national resident judge as well as 2 additional local judges, Nashwin and D-Money. After the 2 sessions in Cape Town, the solo regional winner from the Western Cape, Lee-Shane Booysen, will represent this province in the National Solo Street Cred finals in Johannesburg.

Catch Street Cred for the next 12 Thursdays at 18:00 for adrenaline-pumping dance talent from the various communities across Mzanzi – exclusive to SABC 1 Mzansi Fo Sho!

Street Cred, hosted by Mzansi rap extraordinaire, hip-hop sensation and South African Music Award winner iFani, sees the channel traveling to the 9 provinces to afford Mzansi youth a chance of competing in their regional dance rounds. Each episode includes 2 regional judges, led by resident judge, hip-hop artist and break dancer, Elric ‘Versatyle’ Prinsloo.

The regional winners walk away with R 2000, a regional Street Cred trophy, and a chance to compete in the Street Cred National solo finals in Jo’burg where he/she could win R10 000 and the national solo Street Cred championship title!
